Purchased S Techs (Tein) and am getting sensatrac 9870....
Am I on the right track. From my understanding and the use of the search button i found that Tomas and a few others say that for a lowered application the sensatracs 9870's give the rear a better ride and at 1.75 front and 1.5 in drop rear that the new shocks will be thier "good" range of compression. So im buying them today unless i hear other wise from you guys ... so what do you think.
Also when im installing the s tech's do i cut the bump stop, take it off completely or leave it alone... so confusing cause as soon as i think i found the thread that will help it turns into this is what i have and it rocks
I have s techs and want sensatrac rear shocks and i run 18's on a very low pro tire (not sure off top of my head)
Please make sure Im on the right track and help.
Thanks ahead of time.

Do the 9870's ride hard? What kind of dampening do they have? Im looking for something that is super hard and will help reduce body roll. I already have S-Techs on the rear and will be ordering my rear sway bar in a day or two...

the 9870's absorb bumps alot better than the stocks so i guess that wouldnt make them "hard"

if you bought the s-techs new there should be a piece of paper with them that says how much you cut off the bump stops. and whether you cut the top or the bottom. at least the ones for my tC did. it was like 1.2 inches from the bottom. or top...either way you should have a piece of paper...if not, call tein

I have the s techs, and yes, they recommend cutting the bump stop an inch from the bottom. Here is my tein spring install thread, it has a picture of how it was cut.

Not sure if it really makes a difference or not though. Many people seem to just leave them intact with no problems.

Sway bars, stiff springs, stiff low profile tires all reduce roll. Hard endlink bushings also eliminate the "slop" in the front sway bar which in effect reduces a little roll as well.
