Questions about H&R Sport Cup Suspension Kit.
Has anyone put this on their XA\XB? I haven't really read anything about it, and there aren't any reviews on them. How would putting this suspension on my car affect my warranty?

I did their Touring cup kit. I was going to go with the Sport Cup but since this car was bought and will be used as my commuter car for when I build up North I couldn't drop the suspension that much. Heck even as it sits it is low to the ground. I really like the stance of how it sits with the Touring and I am sure it will look real good with the Sport but if your roads are like ours here in the mountains by Maine, Vt and Canadian borders then good luck. As for warranty I don't see why it should be effected. Didn't Toyota/Scion design these car for the performance/aftermarket enthusiasts? I guess it all comes down to your dealer. My F250 has a 4" lift and my wife's Excursion has a 6" lift and they both ride on 35" tires and we haven't had any problems with the dealer.
Good luck and I a sure you will be happy with it. Just watch those speed bumps and especially pot holes.

Here is a link to the thread that I started last week with some pics. I just installed a set of 25mm spacers on the rear wheels and need to bring it to the mechanic to get the longer studs installed on the front so that I can put those spacers on. As for the stance now with the back spacers I like it better and definitely cann't wait to see how it handles with the fronts on there also

It handles great. The Progress bar made a difference that was unbelieveable. I added the Megan strut bar the same time I did the Touring Cup kit so I don't know how much that helped but the car is definately much better now. If you can get away with doing the 2" drop with the Sport Cut kit then I would do it but I just wasn't able to do it with the roads up here. I can take an offramp that sweeps 180 degrees at 70-75 no problem and it stays glued to the road. Cann't wait to see what it does once the front wheel spacers are on it and it allows me to test out the slightly wider stance. If you remember Pontiac's old slogan on when they released the wider body style Grand Prix's. "Wider is Better"!! That is definitely true. Had a 2001 GTP and that thing was a blast to rip around in.

Nope no additional parts needed. The only thing I would suggest is a spring compressor for the fronts. That was the only thing that was a pain. A quick visit to my mechanic took care of that rather than renting one from PEP Boys for $75.
If you plan on adding wheel spacers in the back the 25mm bring the wheels out about to the edge so you will need to roll the bottom side of the wheel wells so they don't scrape the edge of the tire. Other than that it is all straight forward.
