WOW,

Car is exactly 1 year old. Installed the springs exactly 1 week ago. had this noise the next day after install.

My front shocks are blown.. both of them. WTF is up with this..

and who makes shocks besides ___ trd.?

what kind of noise exactly are you hearing? my car developed a hollow sort of knocking sound. turned out the top nut on the strut was loose. i tightened it back up, and no more noise.

i have oil on the strut. its leaking = blown.

the noise was a hollow loose sound.

My problem has been fixed. I took the struts off, had a buddy push them down to compress them, and tightened the bolt all the way before putting them back on the car. No more rattling/hollow sounds! Thanks, BrianxB and everyone else who chimed in!
