Default Springs with less drop.

Hi, i am looking for springs that would provide me with less of a drop than my current "sprint" setup. The rear is dropped wayyy too much and the wheels tuck. Im having trouble going over speedbumps and such.

What other spring options do i have that would give me more than TRD springs' drop but also not tuck the rear wheels?

I only know of H&R, but any other options?

I was wondering the same question. But at the same time I want something that will give me a comfortable ride as well.

I'm a person who was looking for a drop that would make the car look good, increase handling, while not causing any trouble. I opted for the TRD springs and they are great. Gap is 2-3 fingers, looks better, and better turning. My second choice was going to be the H&R but the TRD were on sale so I just went with those. Anything lower than H&R is just calling for trouble like your sprints. You really don't need that much of a drop unless you're trying to slam it or autocross it (which you would probably buy coilovers then instead).

I have the trd springs and in the rear there is no gap, in fact I believe that my wheels may even be slightly tucked. The front there is a 2 finger gap and the ride quality is great.

With my drop now, on bigger speed bumps i get wild scraping on the exhaust pipe. This includes the pipe after the cat to the axle. And also the muffler itself will scrape.

tuck in the rear with TRD springs? thats not possible. u must have installed different springs in the back. because I have 2 1/2 finger gap.

For TRD springs, I have 3 finger gap front and 2.5 finger gap back. Both went from 4 fingers. It'll probably settle to 2 fingers both.

Default New TRD springs without shocks/struts?

Dudes:

Can I have just the TRD lowering springs installed by themselves, or do I also have to have new TRD struts/shocks installed at the same time? I have a dealer telling me I have to install the entire suspension package (not just the springs alone), total cost with labor = about $1000.

Thanks.

if you didn't want to buy new springs, again, you can goto autozone and buy srping spacers that will lift your ride about an inch and a half. the more you put on the higher it will go.

i personally think the TRD springs will do just fine for this car ... a happy medium between stock and somethin too low ... living in NE ya dont want somethin thats gonna bottom out too much ... TRD i think would be the way to go
