I have had my hotchkis springs installed for about almost a year now and I notice now once in a while when steering the wheel on light turns , u-turns, and stand stills, an annoying pinging and clanking comes out from the springs. Any idea if there is someplace to spray with some wd40 or something or maybe they have become mis-seated ? There is no change in the performance and they are just great.

same! I was just about to make a post about this. When I go over bumps and stuff, a lot of times they clunk

check the bolts at the shock tower.. make sure theyre still torqued...if those became loose, that could possibly lead to a misseated spring.

Mine also occurs on one of the rear ones. Anyone have anysuggestions? Sorry for threadjacking

front did you wrap the srings when installed?
rear tighten them up they seam to work loose

I know that clanking noise, I remember that was the problem because I remember reading when you use hand tools, after spring settlement the gap between the bolt and tower will clamp as it spreads, its all tightened up and better, but the noise is coming from the springs while turning the wheel at stop, uturns, and slow turns. Its like a strange pinging

I am not sure about the sizing but they can be used on any sping brand.

when i had hotchkis on my car i got the same clanking noise. Im pretty sure it was due to lack of rubber wrapping on the spring. You should try out those Tein silencers, I think they would do the trick.
