Default Sprint Springs - Comments Please

Just wondering what everyone thinks about Sprint springs. The one xB I saw them on looked like it did not sit lower in the back than the front like the goldline's do. If anyone is using Sprint any comments good or bad is appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

put it this way.

if you're gonna wanna spend the money on sprint,.

u can get GOLDLINES which a lot of people get for the same price.

and i think all the buyers of GOLDLINES are happy with them,...

no comment for sprints.

Funny but I haven't heard a peep about Sprint on this board I only know one person that runs them on their xB. So far it hasn't been bad from what I experienced. I don't know if they fixed their sag issues but it's not too bad.

I personally have Spy and they are great and I heard that Gold Line are great bang for the buck spring. After i heard that the a few techs from Eibach started Gold Line then it made a little less weary of them.

I got goldlines, I like em they ride better than stock, and mine actually sits higher in the rear than the front. A buddy on mine put sprints on his accord and it is still geeting lower and that was two years ago, they never settled and saggin now. Be careful you might get more drop than you bargain for. Bill

i have sprints.. they're not bad.. and mine are settled down already. i got mine for under $200. i think it was worth the bargain. they probably set in the front rather the back cuz they probably did not put enough weight in the back to set the springs.. mine are set cuz i carry about 100lbs worth of tools to work everyday. so mine are set.. if you want them to set.. carry bags of sand or rice for like a week.. and they will set..

i like my sprints.. had no problems. but i want to go lower then 2".
so if anyone finds springs that lower 2.5" please let me know..

ive installes pretty much all brands of springs (18 scion spring installs).
Here are the top 5 players:

Eibach (very nice part, inlcudes bump stops and coil sheathing)
Spy
Goldline
Tanabe (very nice part, inlcudes bump stops and coil sheathing)
TRD

I think that Spy and Goldline are the best "bang for the buck", but all of the companys listed above make very nice parts.

everyone always seems to cheap out on everything that is important. ie. tires, springs, struts, brakes.

nobody's sed anything bad about em, just that they are cheaper than the other springs out at the time. people were talking about sprints way before the goldlines and tanabes were here and they were cheaper than spy's and anything else at that time. Now goldlines and springtech are the cheapest so why not say don't buy those cuz you get what you pay for...cheap sh*t. everyone sed they are a good ride and nobody has had any problems with them so far on a SCION.

come to think of it you're right.........all the negative talk was previous experience with Sprints on Hondas, etc.
My bad. It still kept me from ever even considering them.

ive replaced several sets of Sprint springs with Spy's because people were not happy with the ride. They are really not that great of a part. Im not trying to flame, but i do belive that i know what im talking about. Joe, how many springs have you installed for customers?

randy, you've never sed anything about switching out the springs so how are we suppose to know that they are bad? we go by what we hear on this site and when people had the sprints a long time ago, when I talked to them, they all liked it.

you need to speak up man so we all know this sh*t
