Sway bar questions.

Sway bar questions.
I have a month old 06 SSM xA, I am planning several mods, which include wheels, intake, tint, and rear sway bar.
My question in this section is on sway bars.
i already read some forums discussing the functionality of sway bars, with the main companies being Progress, whiteline, and hotchiks (spelling?). i am just an everyday driver, with the need for a little speed every now and then. i want to decrease body roll during cornering and increase handeling.
questions:
For the everyday driver, what will one choose?
Does anyone have anything against TRD rear sway bar?
Where do they exactly mount, on the arms (supension area) and where else? the frame or the rear axel?
and anyone know any good places to get these parts, online or anyplaces in San Diego?
thanks in advance.

the only thing i may have against the TRD is the pricing.. but for $145 at TRDSparks.com it's a good deal.
this is my opinions on what i know:
TRD is perfect for the everyday driver.. Progress is just a step up from that, and Hotchki's is great, and leaned towards spirited drivers. and i'm sad to say i know nothing about the whitelines.
you say you're in San Diego? I would highly recommend talking to the guys at Autofashion. they'll be able to help you out much better than me.

San Diego! awesome, you've deffinately gotta hit up one of our meets, check the Pacific South forum right now. As for the sway bar, I have the Hotchkis on my ride right now. I hear that the progress bar is thicker than the hotchkis. The best place for SD ordering is hopupracing they have free shipping on lots of stuff and are located here in SD.

I have the progress rear sway bar on my car, plus a whole bunch of other stuff, but i must say for everday driving i have no problems with it. It decreases body-roll by ALOT and feels much more stable around the bends. The sway bar mounts to your rear beam, its juts a stiffening brace not allowing the existing rear beam to twist during roll. The only sway bar the actually mounts to the "suspension arms" of our car is the whiteline, but thats almost impossible to find. SO if i were you id go with the progress. You can get it cheap on ebay.

The whiteline is NOT impossible to find. you just have to know who to call. I placed one phone call to a shop up the road from me and its been ordered.
You will probably see a group buy very soon in the sponsored sales section from the company that I ordered mine from last month. Keep your eyes peeled, supply will be limited.
