Default tein S-tech or tanabe DF210???

Need imput from fellow scion members. I know that the DF210 gives slightly a lower drop then the S-tech. Im just wondering which spring is better.

i have the df210s and they are great.... a little stiffer than stock and slightly rougher ride but very bearable
i installed the s-techs on a friends car and the drop looked so close to the same, it was about 1/2 inch higher and sits much more level (mind i have two 12's, 2 amps, a custom fit box, and another batteriy in the back) but he says that they ride better than the stock springs and even handle better too
i am considering changing to the s-techs so that i can put a body kit on so if you plan on ever putting a body kit on then get the s-techs for sure cause it would be impossible with the df210s without destroying the kit within the month

note- this is my personal opi

I love my s tech's. You can find a really god deal on them at most retailers. I dont think you will be disappointed with them if you end up buying them

it all depends on what you are looking for. Im not running either of the 2 but if you want an agressive drop, then definately go with tanabe, but if you a more suttle nice looking drop go with tein.

Well put. I just went through the spring decision. I went with TEIN S-Tech man the ride is fine alittle stiffer than stock(to be expected) and the drop is perfect if you are running 15's still. I just got new 195/60/15's the FUZION's and I love the way it look's the edge of the fender sit's just over the tire. Perfect Fit!

pics...

im on Tanabes and i have a Kenstyle front lip and im rolling on steelies...
my lip is getting scraped and dragged everytime i enter or exit a driveway...
never did this back when i had the stock lip...

i would change my springs for those s-techs but i'll be rolling on coilovers soon and well it won't matter then.

DF210's. They perform better than s-techs, and also look better with stance.

S-techs final drop is in the range of 1.8-2.0''. My dfs dropped me 2.2-2.3.

To add on to that.

s-techs = more comfort than performance
df210s = more performance than comfort
coilovers = performance
air = comfort/strictly show
