I haven't lowered a scion on tenzo's but I've lowered a few hondas on them. The ride is going to be very unforgiving, they are fairly "hard" springs (the spring rate is fairly high). They will give a 2in drop (approx) and are built really well (some company like rs builds them i think), but you can get a set of Megan Racing springs that are really good for a little bit less. Same stiffness, less price = mo' betta'

What is it that you are looking for with a set of springs? Just to get that nice down low look & keep a nice ride? Get that down low look + stiff springs for better handling? What type of price do you want to pay?

Yeah. From what I have gathered, both Tein Springs & Tanabe springs do this for you. TRD springs make it stiff, goldline makes it a little stiffer, get a set of shocks with the springs & that could make the ride more smooth. The sites with the cheapest prices on the springs I listed, are listed below:

chucksu is right. You are going to get better characteristics from a complete suspension setup then just lowering with springs. Lowering a vehicle straight up will screw up alignments, camber, and can wear out factory shocks really quickly depending on how you drive or the conditions you drive in. A full suspension setup from TEIN or KONI or any other "tuner" company is going to be better because most companys, like TEIN, test and test and test to get the best all-around setup for their lower priced components and the best "race-ready" response from their higher end. It's all about what you want. I want a car to drive and corner like a bat out of hell on rails, so I am willing to sacrifice comfort for style and handling. Some people who lower their cars to maintain comfort go with an air-ride system, but these can be just as much or more costly than a really solid-tuned sport suspension. It's all in what you want, how you want it, what purpose, and how deep is your pocket-book.
