Default Is there anyway to install springs without voiding warranty?

I am wanting to put on the TRD lowering springs. I only want about a 1" drop and these seem to do the trick. (Plus I am @nal about using Toyota parts.)

My question is, if I install these myself am I going to void any warranties. Is there anyway I can get these on (and keep the warranties) without paying double to have them installed?

Just a question. :?

if you install them you will not have any warranty protection. you dont actually void any warranties, but if parts fail as a direct result of the springs or installation, it will not be covered. wear and tire items like shocks/struts are not covered anyway.

if you are worried about warranties, there really isn't any alternative to a dealer install..

the shocks/struts are wear and tear items and not usually covered by warranty anyways. if you install them yourself you are still covered if the engine blows up. dont worry about it. have some friends come over, fire up the bbq, and have a spring install party. its a fairly easy install, and if you do it yourself you will know its done right.

Ok, on a scale from 1 to 10, how easy is the install for springs. I am wanting to put on trd lowering springs.

1 being "I don't know how to unlock the door"
10 being "I work for NASA"

I am a complete car modding noob and took me 6 hours to put the springs in + installing a rear anti sway bar. The majority of the time was used on sway bar install.

Rears are 2 "I know which end of the screwdriver to hold"
Fronts are 4 "I know not to push hard on a wrench when my knuckles are pointed toward a sharp object"

well then it sounds like i might be able to handle it. I am a 5 on the scale - "I know not to lower the jack while I am still under the car."

After you do the springs, HAVE IT ALIGNED!! Even if it drives fine, tires are expensive. Get the alignment and sleep better at night.
