Looks like I'm going with front HTS(adjustables) = $165 ea. + HP's on the rear( $44 ea. ). Probably the most cost effective - yet quality set up I can do. Adjustables tend to last a bit longer then regular struts(by dialing down the rebound/compression) , thus I figure use the HTS on the front where there tends to be more wear - plus it will look cooler in the engine bay w/ the adjustable dials

definitely post up some pics. I am still not sure what I want to do. I want a nice smooth ride since most of driving is on the freeway to and from work. I do have the Eibach Pro Kit, and sway bar ready to go once I decide what shocks and struts to use.

Yeah.. I spoke with someone at Tokico tech, and they said that now the HTS do have a warrenty(exactly how long, etc. ... I'm not sure) , vs. there web site says that the HTS do not carry ANY warrenty.

Ordered the Tokico D-specs (HTS) from Shox.com today. Nowhere on the Tokico site can I find anything that says they do not carry the same lifetime warranty as anything else.

http://www.hitachi-hap-la.com/Tokico...roducts/dspec/

It also says in the FAQ's that all Tokico products sold for the street carry a lifetime warranty - only products strictly designed for competition don't. The D-specs say nowhere that they are designed strictly for competition, and in their description specifically say that they are ideal for street as well.

I should hopefully have them installed by the end of next week, will review then. Also installing Road Magnet springs at the same time.

i wonder how the hts and a pair of good springs would compare to a set of coilovers

Good question.

I'll be doing HTS on the front, and HP's on the rear.. with Eibach Pros. The set up wont be done till the end of April.. but I'll report back then.

SHOULD be as good or better. Koni is rebound adjustable only - Tokicos are compression + rebound adjustable w/ the one **** (simultaneous adjustment). They're certainly more expensive.

So I'm assuming HTS and D-spec are the same thing? That's an insane price on them at that site if they are the same dampers I'm getting for $591 shipped :-)

Shox.com is in CA, I'm in PA - they'll be here on Friday (UPS ground). Hoping to have time to install the new suspension Friday night, then hitting up a pretty wicked back roads drive to a town about 100 miles away on Saturday morning.
