Default Trd spring coilovers

My friend bought a pair of trd coilover springs for his xb the other day, and wants me to install them. These are just the springs that fit over the stock strut, and give an adjustable ride height. I have no idea how to adjust these things, or what to do different to install these. Anyone have any advice, or can give instruction on these things? I've installed springs before and I'm comfortable doing that, but have never dealt with coilover springs before.

What your friend has is a coilover sleeve. And i didn't know TRD made this part. Are you sure its a genuine TRD part? Nothing shows up on the TRD site.

I haven't seen them yet, but he says it has a trd stamp on it. I was wondering the same thing, since I couldn't find anything on web about them either. Tomorrow he's supoose to get me the part number, so hopefully something will come up. I'm lost with these!

If they are coilovers they are not TRD. TRD does not make a coilover set up for the xB and all the coilovers they do make are full damper set ups not sleeve style. They're probably just springs if they are TRD.

I can now say that they aren't a TRD part. Didn't see any type of TRD branding anywhere on them when I finally saw them. Turns out to be just ebay coilover springs that go on almost just like regular lowering springs.

Gonna do it on sunday. Hope they work at at least decent. I guess it doesn't really matter since all my friend wants out of them is more than a 2 inch drop. Doesn't matter if they make noise or have a bad ride.

On another note trd sparks: Do you carry OEM XB tail lights? Please say they aren't $110 a piece!
