I wouldn't... the springs are designed for a certain weight.

I've said this a number of times...
Springs hold your car up! Do it right!

Everyone makes springs sound like rocket science. They are just springs. Sure they hold your car up, but it is just not that precise. If it was we would all be running on factory springs designed for the factory cars with a set weight limit.

Lowering springs should use shortened struts with dampening set up just right for the weight of the car and the wheels you are using along with the proper bump stops. We also shouldn't forget that the weight of the car shouldn't change as that would completely throw off the balance of everything.

And let's forget about air springs altogether, there is just no way those will work. The rates are too variable as well as the ride height.

different rates, different diameters, different mounting points.

if you're looking for springs, go yaris

The ratings? or the design? If anything the spring rating is different because of the weight and length of the car. Yeah the Yaris springs are about the same as an xB.

yaris and xD share the way the strut mounts to the chassis . so just be altering a few things you can easily lower the front in about two hours time without even changing the springs.

rear springs are the same design on yaris , xd , and xb/xa , but they may be different diameter , and the spring rate will deff be different , how much so probably within a hundred pounds worth of spring rate.

unfort I think the xD is the heaviest of the bunch so you'd have to find decently stiff reafr springs off something else to make up for the added weight.
