Default 15" 6.5 tire help

I bought Borbet Type B 15" 6.5 40 mm offsetand put the OEM tires on. The handling was so sloppy that I put the steelies back on with the OEM Goodyears. I want to use up these tires while I shop for better ones for my Borbets.

What tires do you recommend that will give a good ride/handling/ looks compromise?

I'd recommend some falken 512's in 205 50 15. They're cheap (57 a piece and they're all season). They have better grip than the OEM's and have a nice looking sidewall because of the wheel lip rim guard built into the tire. They also have a 360 treadwear rating. You can go 205 55 15 for it to come close to the OEM tire's diameter but they're a couple dollars more.

Although i have them installed on my stock 15x6 steel wheels, they don't feel sloppy and they progressively break traction when pushed to the limit (you'll know), the oem goodyears are POS's.
