just a bit of a stretch. I was looking at 195/50r15's cuz thats the smallest size they offer the new Bridgestone Potenza re-11 Extreme performance summer tires.

What are you looking for? streched look? better mpg? better grip?

Cuz those potenza's are only like 115 each for the stickiest street legal tires i could find for under 120 bucks lol.

I would be scared running 155...stock is 185 so thats 20mm shorter...thats 6mm's short of an inch. Just a tought!

why would you want to run a tire that thin?

only 3 problems i see with that setup.
#1 your speedo would be 6% off, so when your doing 60 on the speedo you would realy only be doing 56.4
#2 you will not have as much traction, so hard stoping in the rain will not be as good.
#3 that set up will be 1.4" shorter so it would lower your car .7"

as long as you can live with that.
i personaly wouldn't do it, but its your car

theres a guy on club xb whos running them and they look really good...plus I can't afford wheels right now because of wedding and house buying...so I am trying to rock the hub caps as cool as possible....I got a 10mm hub spacer for the rear...and a set of 25mm wheel spacers for the rear....and Im looking for a set of 15mm wheel spacers for the front....and a tire that will look good and make it look like the hub cap is huge...or something

I get what your trying to.

I dont think a 155 will affect his speedo unless once it is streched it goes from 60 to 45 or 50.

I would be scared for hard braking, turning, potholes...etc.

Just get a 185/50r15 or a 195/50r15...it will still fit and the tire will be much lower profile wise. And you will not have to sacrifice braking power, turning, rain, etc..!

I see what you are saying though, and it does indeed look awesome

Thats Punkhops car. It will look good but I think to pull it off you will have to be pretty low or you will have major wheel well gap
