Default 17" Rota Slipstreams info.

Hey!

Does anybody know how heavy the 17x7.5 Slipstreams are? I've looked around quite a bit, but the official documentation I've found has only gone up to 16".

Any idea what the offset is on these?

Any help would be much appreciated!

where are you finding 17" slipstreams available?

I've only ever seen 16" max, and even their official website (www.rotawheels.com) only lists 16x8 as the max size.

Hikaru at JDM Motorsports is carrying them. That's exactly what I mean! I can't find any info on this!

that's awesome, can't wait to see them. mind if i ask what you paid?

throw them on a bathroom scale when you get them! always loved the slipstreams, didn't go with them because they weren't available in anything over 16" and i got a great deal on Enkei RP02's on 17x7 ($300 new for a set from edgeracing.com), which are apparently 15.2lbs a wheel.

can't wait to see these. what color did you get?

a quick google search came up with this link:
http://store.racinglab.com/rowhsl17x754.html

looks like the offset on these is ET45. the subaru versions are around 16.5 lbs in 17x7.5...should give you a ballpark. i still say weigh them :-)

Okay, found out some specs on the wheels I ordered:

Rota Slipstream 17x7.5
offset = 45
hub bore 67.1mm

I also got some Falken Ziex 512 Tires - (215/40/17), so I'm pretty psyched!

He estimated around 16.5 pounds a piece.

I'll weigh 'em when I get 'em!

Yeah, but the scale will tell...

I noticed that the hub bore is 67.1 mm on these wheels but the standard Toyota size is something like 53.1mm. Is this gonna create a problem?

you will need hubcentric rings to make up the difference there. most wheel shops will include them for free, they're little plastic rings that bridge the gap between the smaller hub and the larger center bore on the wheel to take the strain off the lugnuts.

Good you asked...a friend of mine did some serious damage not running hubcentric rings.
