nothign, u'll be find running 17" hell scion sells 19 that will fit onto a xa or xb without rubbing 17's will have plenty of room. infact 17" are probably what i'll end up going with on my fiance's xa when we get it.. she wantst he look but cant sweat the ride... so she'll have 17's me on the otherhand i'll probably sport 18 - 20's on my xb depending on how low i want it.. if i want it low low i'll go 18's or 19's tucked.. from what i hear tho.. u can tuck 22's into a xb with some minor modification.. such as cutting the wheel well.

17s will fit with no problem. Do a search for propper offset and stuff, it is one of the most talked about subjects on this board ( wheel, tire combos for the Scion line ).

Me personally, i have 17x7.5 with a 215/45R17 tire with minor rubbing isues ( doesnt rub anymore ). Then i lowered the xB, and everything is still good, looks good too. Hit the link in my sig for pics.

I'm dropped 2.5 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear on 215/40-17 on a 7.5 inch wide wheels and have had no problems. I also have a 3mm spacer in the rear.

I now have Buddy Club wheels shod w/ 215/40-17 Nitto Neo-Gens. The drop is courtesy of TEIN coilovers.

The drop is the same on the pics from Exposed, but the wheels have changed.

Here's another pic taken at Superautobacs.

The wheels are 17 inch Exel TZ-10s w/ 205/40-17 Kumhos.

Here's Ken, NCP31, on Cusco coilovers. 3 1/2 inch drop in front IIRC w/ 17 inch wheels.

Its one of the smoothest rides I've ever had! Even better now that I'm running 215/40-17s, compared to 205s.

Yup, the struts are pretty much vertical, so when you lower the xB, everything stays pretty relative to stock. Not a whole lot of variation.

i just installed 215/40/17 on 17x7 axis maglites today and couldnt be happier. no rub lots of sidewall, and it makes the drop look better, ive been running spy springs on stock wheels for about 10000 miles now....and what a difference

Do you have pics of it? I would like to see how those look on the xB. I was considering those but went with some other rims because I was concerned about the strength of those wheels due to the weight. But liked them because of the looks and weight.
