My friend is bringing some 18's for me to look at? Should i go for some 17's? I drive my car a fair good amount, M-F im driving to Huntington Beach and to Whittier. What are the cons of having 18's and drving long distances?

I test drove an xB with 18" rims on them. I didn't like the ride at all. But I'm used to driving Durangos and Caravans...
I'm probably going to get 15", 16", or 17" (if need be) rims for my xA later down the line...

I have 18's on my ride (look on my profile if you want to see) and honestly, the ride is OK. I'm content with my ride. I think i need better springs or after market shocks that can handle my springs. Anyways, i drive from downey to Garden grove M-F and on weekends i drive anywhere. The ride is bumpy and uncomfortable for people sitting in the back.

ive got 18's and personally i wish i would have put on 17's... better ride less money... oh yeah i mainly say this cause theres so little rubber... i already put a nice dent in the lip of my pricey wheels... so i figure ill just go buy a replacement...good luck finding someone who will sell you one wheel without inflating the per wheel price by at least a hundred bucks

i just got my 19's on 225/35/19. i dont mind the ride at all. the cars lowered with tanabe df210's which make it a little softer. 18's are gonna be easier because there is more tire and less a chance to dent the rims. with the 19's i need to be careful which paths i take

I'd get 17s or lower. I test drove an xB with 18s on it and I was going down the interstate at about 80 mph and hit a bump in the road and I thought the car was gonna fall apart. The tires are too low profile for daily driving.

It really depends on your personal style, I run both 19's and 18's on the car now depending on the show I'll be doing. 18's definetly are more comfortable, but for looks 19's are better. fuctionality the smaller wheels would be cool, i ran with 15" Axis MagLites for a few weeks now those were very cool and very easy on the bumps. Good luck with your decision, either size would look nice on your car.
