Im rolling on 17's, 215/40/17, and dropped 2" on Gold-Line springs. My ride is neither stiff or bumpy.

What about 18" without drop.
The ones that come through Scion?
How is that ride?

I'm on 18s w/o drop and the ride feels like the stock 17s. I thought about lowering (with TRD Springs) but I think I'll bottom out too much and mess up my front end. When I get bored, I'll lower it. Lots of people think I lowered my tC. Either my tC looks really pimp or the peeps aren't smart enough to know its not lowered.

Not sure, it could be just the pics. Or, it could be the fact that I have the 40 series and not the 35. The 40 sidewall is taller. I also noticed that in the last few weeks or so, my springs have finally began to settle. I had them installed approx 3 months ago.

well i live in colorado and i just bought 18's for my xb and I've herd that 215/35 is to low of profile because of all the potholes we have here. Do any of you know what size of tire would do good on 18's that wont rub but is thick enough to withstand a pothole. thanks
