Default 19" wheels help

I did a search on 19" wheels and seems like some have rubbing and some don't . my question is: will 19x8, 40offset with 215/35/18's rub with a 2" drop? seems like some say they do and some say they don't, some say they rub only when turning all the way to the left or right. My question is which one is correct? will they rub?
thanks for all your comments.

they should be ok, i would guess that youll beed to run a 5 mil spacer on the rear, and the front shouldnt rub at all, maybe only at full lock in a u turn or so. the spacer will only be required if your back tire rubs the trailing arm, if it doesnt you should be cool

i have 19x8 with a 45 offset. the 215 will most likely not rub in the front. because you will have a 10mm smaller tire than me and a 5mm offset so you have a 15mm advantage. the rear wont rub for sure. i have 225/35/19 and i needed a 5mm spacer. were u planning to stretch out the tire a bit, because u should be running a 225. pm me if you have any more questions

so what setup will you guys go with for 19's "Without Rubbing!"

18x7.5 or 18x8's wheels? and what offset?

215 35 19's or 225 35 19's tires?

how many inches to lower? 1" or 2" ? and what springs do you guys recommend?

I would be thankful if all can assist. :D

I'll let you know if 19x8 40offset works with 215/35/19s.
