Just curious, what was the weather like on the day it failed? I've heard of extreme cold or extreme heat causing bead failure before. In fact the one time I've have a bead fail it was about 20 below zero and I hit a pothole... wasn't catastrophic failure like yours but it was bad enough that the air gradually leaked out. This was years ago, not with a Scion...

Hmm. Well, beats me. I bet the dealer will want to query the black box in your car to see when/if the low pressure warning light was on. If it wasn't I can see why they are concerned...

From the pictures that he posted, those are Bridgestones. You can read "Potenza" on the second to last photo.

Well Scion decided to screw us, they just delayed things and said it was excessive Tire wear, funny they say that about a 1200 mile car. They said they contacted the other person with this similar problem, and said hers was caused by impact as well. Any ideas?

They may be coming with the Yokos cause there are no more Bridgestones to install from the Bridgestone tire maker.

Some things ill never own .... a Ford .... Goodyear tires, and Bridgestone/Firestone brand tires.
