2006 xB comes with a 15"x6.0 rim now, will a 5.5 still
Anyone know if the more shallow 5.5 rims will work on the 2006 xB? I know everyone usually wants the bigger tires, but in this case I found some 2004 steelies that I was going to mount some snow tires on. I checked the steelies on the 2006 I just purchased and they are 15x6.0, the extra set are 15x5.5.
Scion didn't change the calipers on the front end or anything else I should be aware of did they? I'm going to try and test fit a rim with no tire mounted on it just to be safe anyways, but was curious if anyone else had encountered this yet or not.

Hmmmmmmm... According to the specs in the May 2003 "Product Introduction" brochure for the xA and xB, the wheels even back then were spec'd as "Standard equipment 6JJ X 15’’ steel wheels."
If I go only by the paperwork the xA and xB models should all have 6 inch width rims standard. Possibly those 5.5s are Echo wheels?
I dunno...
Anyway, with the OEM size tires, a 5.5 rim width is just fine, and if they are Scion or Echo wheels everything should work with no problem.
