I think you'll be fine if you don't drop it w/ 2" springs.

IMO you should go with a 205/40/18 instead of 215/40/18, 205/40 is closer to 215/35, it will work better, closer to stock diameter. 195 is even closer, but depending on your wheels they might not be wide enough.

You might be better of with 17"s

Good luck with it.

you are right about michigan. i have only sold 16" wheel and tire kits and even those have 50's on them. I don't want people to sacrifice ride quality unless they are really looking for the performance of profile tires..

I've got 215-35-18's and dropped 2" with goldline springs... I'd love to go to 40's but I believe it'd rub... I rub occasionally when I have a full load and turn in where one side compresses first

This from the FAQ: wheel fitment

Tires: 215x40x18 int Front 225x40x18s in the back
wheels: 18x7.5 42mm
Springs: Spy 2" drop lowering Springs
Spacers: 5mm in the rear only (to bring the wheel out more)

I love this setup over the previous setup because the 215x40x18s is more forgiving when hitting bumps vs. 215x35x18s (more tire between the road and the rim). I also like the subtle wheel staggered look.

Rubbing in the Front: Yes, only when turning the wheel all the way left/right.
Rubbing in the back: None after cutting the small piece of plastic from the inner splash guard where the tire is rubbing. NO MORE RUBBING after this simple fix.

Thanks for the feedback. So if there is rubbing in the front all that needs to be done to eliminate it is to trim the plastic inner piece ?
