FYI, for a guaranteed (if selected from our wheel offerings) trouble free / rub free 17" fitment, we recommend 17 X 7.0 or 7.5 wheels with offsets in the 37 to 42mm range (depending on the design) with a either a 205/45-17 or 215/40-17 tire. 8's may be a little wide and could lead to some rubbing issues. With that offset you might rub with 8" wide rims but if you can get the offset in low 30 you should be fine. I think its better to have wider rim than narrower one !!! Sean

I have 17x8, 17x9 with 215/40's. The tires are stretched just rite and the ride is good. THe offsets are +25 and +20.
