Like I said, what were knockoffs? The lip, the tails ae a knockoff of Garson's(I have the real thing) and the bBist spoiler is a knockoff of a JDM, thought it was Damd, but I was wrong, it's Spirits.

I wasn't trying to start a fight, was just wondering what was real, and if all the other stuff was, why go sportmax?

If you have the real everything, then why are you posting a picture of someone elses xB? Your profle shows nothing, and all you have ever done is make fun of sportmax's.

Furthermore, since I have a custom dual exhaust setup, does that mean it is a rip off of something else? Just because you want something doesnt mean that you have to get the original. If you like the Chrysler 300, does that mean you are liking a knockoff? And have to buy the classic?

Come on Richy Rich Show everyone how awesome your xb is.

Admittedly, I have seen a picture of his box, and it is nice. However, having more money to throw at a car doesn't give you license to tear everyone else's stuff apart.

I have knock off wheels! I don't care! The fact is, I drive a $15,000 car, and I'm not going to dump thousands of dollars on wheels or a spoiler. I'm thrilled that you stuff's authentic, that's great. You get a big pat on the back from me. But just as many people (likely more) don't care as long as it looks good to them.

Again, you are taking everything out of context here. I was simply implying that if all the parts were authentic, why Sportmax's? But since it has been proven that not everything is authentic, it doesn't matter. And in my original post, did I not say it looked good? Wasn't trying to start a fight. ANd the guy I was speaking to, answered my question politely. So why are you all up in arms. This was an A to B conversation. Please C your way out of it!

I like his ride. Looks very clean. Just had a curious question is all.

ANd the reason I haven't posted pics of my ride here, is it's stripped down getting a $10k plus build up. I want to wait till it's done before I give too much away. Plus, it looks like crap right now. Just got done with a new coat of paint and needs wet sanded buffed, and cleaned up. My wheels are still in transit from Japan, and the only thing completed is the clutch, flywheel, pulley, and supercharger install. That, and I dont' have a Spirits wing to show.

That's fine, man. Actually, you might be able to answer a question... who makes the original 501 design?

I catch your posts a good bit, and you are always very condecending and act like a brand snob. You act like your better than just about everyone because of your "real" authentic japan parts. As far as I am concerned, your so called knockoff wheels are round and roll just like any other wheel, seems pretty real to me.

^^Amen. Enough snobbery. 501's are an origional design. Sure they're not a real multi-piece wheel and are dual drilled, but what else fits our cars so perfectly under $100 each? Are Works (which I love, owned a few sets myself) really worth $3-400 more each? If you can rationalize it to yourself. For me, 501's are just about the perfect real-world wheel.

Damn right! And yea. Since the 501 is actually an original design, then you can't really go around calling them knockoffs, can you?
