I was actually considering this after seeing some silver SSR's on a BSP bB here. I wanted to get some RS's and powdercoat the mesh black, and throw on a polish lip. But tracking down 4x100 in fair condition, and all the work and money to refurbish them would run the price of me getting some ALSO used wheels like Eurolines or somethign else(which involves no wait time). According to VW heads, there was another model VERY similar to the RS that is more accesible in 4x100 that offer the same look with minor differences, but don't offer the same weight and performance that made the RS a benchmark in wheel technology.

The main reason why I didn't go with it though was financial issues lol. It just wasn't worth it to me considering my box is a daily driver, and everyone who sees it won't know much abotu what I'd be using.

man i was looking for reverse mesh's for sooooo long. i actually found a set on a car here (15x8 forgot the offset but it had a fat lip!)and asked if he was selling. he actually was running them on his FF drift EF civic sedan(really!). he is actually sponsered by JIC, i think, for FF drifting . he's a cool dude and although i've never seen him drift myself i heard he is bada$$. well the story goes some dude had stored them for a while and just wanted to get rid of it. sold them to him for $400!!! i wasn't the first to ask if he was sellin and last i heard he f'd one of em up drifting.

i wanted bbs's too. you ever seen them with the replacement kodiak stainless steel lip?!? f'n beauiful!!!

This has been one of my favorite bBs for a while

I think they're 15x8 SSR meshes, but I'm not 100% sure on the brand. I know they're 15s, though.

I love mesh wheels and would love to pick up a set of 15x8s, but man are BBS wheels expensive!

Although I like the look, I'd hate to keep those type of rims clean. You'd either go thru a lot of spray on wheel cleaner or a ton of elbow grease..neither of which I'd want to do.
