Axis Decade Maxis Lip

Axis Decade Maxis Lip
I want to put Axis Decades w/ Maxis Lip on all for corners of my xB. Can I run spacers in front to clear the calipers? How much spacer do I need to clear without rubbing? Will a 25mm spacer put the wheels out past the fender lip?

I planned on using the same size spacers all the way around as well as OTG spacers in the rear for a uniform look. I just want to make sure that I get enough spacer to clear the calipers but not so much as to push the wheels out past whe fender lip.

I have those thanks to axis/wheel studio and Brent! lol
Anyways, what are you all talking about?? I haven't had any problems and now I want to paint my calipers and drums so do I need spacers? The guys at axis said I didn't need them.
Is there a certain reason why you want to use them? Can you clue me in?
Thanks bunches!!

It depends on what backspace the wheels have to begin with. If it's around 40-45 you shouldn't need the spacers. Just the One Tons for the rear.

Hey man, I have 19" axis with the maxis lip on them. They do taper in towards the caliper. We actually shaved the caliper down on the outer edge to get them to clear. No need for spacers that way. Grinder and some careful planning on where to smooth is all thats needed. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys!
I know that your not going for that look but don't forget, you would also need mudflaps.

I don't remember how much grinding was required. A 5mm spacer looks like it would work though. The deal is, whether you want the wheels out that far or not? Your getting close to fender lips if you go much further.

it really wouldnt stick out that far, think its 35 OFFSET, 18x8 with a 25 that would make it a -10 offset, agressive, but not as much as some ive seen, would look good with flares prob
