I like them, but they are pretty expensive for a 'throwback rim'. They would look great on my '88 MR2 SC, something bigger would be nice to fill the XA's huge wheel well.

Original design? I hope you were being sarcastic. The Oldskools are Work copies and the OG - sans are SSR mesh copies.
Nothing new, thoese aren't the only wheel designs they copied.

he was. im pretty sure everyone knows work is the originator of those wheels. but not everyone wants to shell out the money for them... or ssr's. i know im glad someone started making knock off wheels. i cant afford to shell out a couple grand for wheels

These look exactly like the sdr-20's from 'drag' but these cost $100 more. Any advantages to either?
And who wants to photshop these onto a white XA...lol

^^^Axis will have a much more flush look with the 8 in wide rim and +25 offset. The drags have a 38 offset, thats like a honda offset, so they will be sunken into the wheel wells more. Also, the 8in wheels lets you easily run strectched tires if you like that look.

So you think the differences are more a size availability issue rather than quality differences? I'm still learning, and with new terms like 'streched wheel' poppoing up, there is always more info to pick up.

On the Axis link they say black or white accents. That may be interesting, but only a pic with the black accents is shown. I like these wheels. A set of these with 10mm rear spacers would be nice. The offset is about perfect. I'm thinking the silver on BOP!
