Default The beaten question...please help

I know everyone asks this but I truly would appreciate some help. Will this setup rub?
-19x8 inch rims with 40 offset
-wrapped in 215/ 35/19 tires
-with a teins s-tech drop

if no, would 225/35/19's rub with this drop? thanks for the help and sorry for the boring post! -BrianH

heres some advice, do some of your own measuring. I mean I dunno how much of a drop the s-techs will bring to your car, but considering the stock tires are 225, you shouldn't have any probs with 225s and if you want to run a 225/35 well those are just like stock. cept the rim size would be bigger. so just measure the clearances as is right now and factor in the drop.

So your saying that they stock tires are equivalent in height and width to 19x8 225/35/19s? Sorry for the dumb questions but I just dont know!

no apologies necessary, we all have to learn. if you dun know already the first number (in this case, say 225) is how wide the tire is in milimeters. the middle number is something like the percent the hieght of the sidewall compared to the width, and the last number is obviously wheel size. so figure it this way, you're getting 19's, thats 2 inches total bigger than stock, meaning an inch to the top of the tire...and you say you want to lower it, say for instance about 1.5 so if you measure from the top of the stock tire to the bottom of the wheel well and have 2.5+ inches to spare...then it'll fit, but make sure you leave room in there for the springs to flex over bumps and such. hope that made sense, feel free to PM me
