Check Fords colors from back in the mid 90's in the Duplicolor book. It's called amythest something, I remember seeing it on Rangers.
Cool thanks!

Did up my wheels. These are the graphite grey color I linked to above, and I like how they came out. I ended up painting the Napa dust caps to match the rims and getting chrome lug nuts. I'm currently unsure if I'm going to do the trim rings or not as I kind of like it just like this.

The color isn't spot on because the sun was setting, but the rear rim in that last shot is closest to the correct color for them rims.

Sorry for resurrecting the Zombie Thread.....

Anybody still listening who's rocking the stainless rings, and can recommend a good distributor? BB2, I'd be thrilled if you'd tell me where I could get a set for $60. I'm hoping for a recommendation from someone who DOESN'T have the rattle problem.

Believe it or not, my bare-steel center caps lasted all Chicago winter with nary a spot, but the rings have just about rusted through.

I needs me some stainless! HALP!!

thanks :D :D

Well, I decided to do it as well. I bought the trim rings from autozone and I dont think I like the way they are shaped/curved.

Well, I joined the cult guys.

Sorry the car is filthy right now and I haven't had a chance to wax the rims.

Anyone want a free set of plastic trim rings? I bought a set for my xB, but it was totaled before I could put them on. I also have the stockers as well.

All are free so long as you pay for shipping. PM me if you are interested.

Default ^^^^Free Trim Rings^^^^WOW

Has anyone lost the NAPA center HUBS?
I find that when I jack up the wheel, I must use a mallod on the HUB or it might fly off while driving.
I lost about 3 of these center caps.

FYI, the free trim rings have been given away.

I still have 06 stockers for free + shipping if anyone wants them.

Isnt she a beauty?

All polished up. I ended up using RTV Silicone glue to keep the dust caps on. We will see if that was a good decision.

Anyone have a link to some stainless steel trim rings that are known to fit the xB?

I don't want to take a chance ordering some that may not fit for whatever reason.

Well I wont be updating my lugs this year because in a week ill be going off to college and I decided not to bring my baby(xA) , so I will do that sometime next year, probably in the spring. Just wish it wasnt like 45 bucks to update the nuts, seems like a lot to a poor college student ;) But it will happen, no worries!

I got my stainless ones from eHubcaps but they are 90 bucks there now.
They are officially called, Stainless steel Trim rings/Beauty rings size 15". They fit perfect and made zero noises.
Zombietime, I can cut you deal on mine cause I don't need them anymore. PM me please?
The cheapest ones I can find now are like 70 bucks. They sure have gone up.

cool this thread is still alive... I lost 2 of my trim rings a few weeks ago entering the freeway ..I found 1 of them lying on the side of the road so now I'm rolling around with only 3 rings They're all scraped up to holy hell though from scraping when I parallel park. A good reason I have cheapo trim rings and not some expensive rims!

Nice wheels serve 2 purposes tho. Your car looks nicer and it gives you incentive to drive more carefully. (including parking)

^ 2 good points. But with car payments and other bills I just can't afford to get some nice rims! Also I would hate that feeling after hearing that "scrape" sound if I had a nice set of rims. Now when I hear that scrape, I just think to myself "meh, oh well"
