Default This blows BIGTIME!!!!!!

My xB finally needed it's front brakes replaced at 46K miles. I replaced them with no problems at all, until I decided to move my car. Put it in reverse and it feels like it's stuck...

Try it again and same thing, car turns off and it won't move! WTF!

Turns out when I replaced my front pads, the thickness of the pads moved the caliper out, towards my Axis Ol' Skools! I tightened the lugnuts down, NOT realizing, that the caliper was right against the inside of the front wheels! I gouged the CRAP out of the inside of my new wheels, when I tried to leave my bay...

You guessed it, I need to GRIND the damn front calipers down, so that the wheels will move freely! After about an hour, it was done and now I need to paint my front, ground-down calipers!

Anyways, the online tire store should have mentioned that I would have clearance issues with these Axis wheels...

Oh well...it's the weekend and now I must go and get a COLD beer!...

Axis knows about the problem.... They found out when the wheels first came out.

I thought the problem only affected the '06 xBs, due to a bigger caliper? I guess it affects ALL the xbs...

You may want to get them rebalanced depending on how bad the gouging was.
