Higher pressure improves responsiveness, turn-in, while lower pressure increases footprint, actually improving adhesion at the limit... that's if the tires aren't truly underinflated...

The whole point of low profile tires, other than looks, is that the short sidewall height improves responsiveness while allowing lower inflation pressures to increase total contact patch area... Ultra low profile tires aren't really suitable for street applications because the extremely short sidewalls can't protect the rims from impact damage in potholes, etc...

Applying some scientific method rather than pure seat of the pants impressions will likely give the best results. It seems unlikely that inflation pressures above 34-35 psi will be beneficial, at all... even that likely won't provide proper edge to edge tire wear...

Spiderbox, have you changed out your rear shocks? Going with some Konis adjustables or Monroe Sensatracs help.

yes i'm on monroe 5987s and tein h techs
i noticed almost no difference with the monroes

the h tecs suck and don't particularly need monroes. koni's would be better

i agree. the monroes didn't feel like it made any difference with my s.techs.
