what cha'll think? i saw an ad for them in ImportTuner this month.... i never would of thought anyone would do someting like this!

On motorcycles they are real cf....i don't know about these though.

Azev is working on the reverse of that. Not for looks, for weight savings.

they aint all that pretty but i like the fact that theyre CF. i agree with westsype i think its just laid on top...

Reverse because the actual rim section of the wheel is completely carbon fiber and the center is aluminum. The earlier rims in the thread have an aluminum rim and carbon fiber (or carbon fiber overlay) center.

I've actually held one of the prototype Azev wheels with the carbon barrel and silver center. In the 18×8.5 size, it weighed 12 lbs.

Hey guys whats up? I work for the company that makes these rims, 01.designsystems. For those wonderings since I see there is some confusion here, yes the rims are aluminum wheels with a carbon fiber overlay. These rims are more show than go. If your looking for performance I'd say wait a bit for our next line of rim's or pre order ;) If any of you have anymore questions, just reply to this post or just PM me if you'd like.
