Actually...He emailed ME with the "I do not disclose offset information" so it's not heresay, I have the email right in front of me...Take it how you want, I'll take it how I want. I'm not getting excited, I'm just saying it turned me off to their bisuness, that's all.

Who gives a fawk anymore...he probably saw that because you had no clue about were to begin, you weren't a serious customer (even though that sounds bad but it's common business practice). I do the same ____ when people ask about engine parts for the xB, I've only given in-depth information to 2 out of 30 people.

bottomline...did you get a response from onetongarage? Just stick to them. They will help you out more than anyone else when it comes to scion offsets.

And I would run DTM rims anyday of the week. Those have always been my dream rims...not HRE (I can't stand HRE), not Works, and definitly not Volks cuz every car nowadays has Volks. But DTM is like the euro wet dream of wheels and since Jline IS DTM...well I hope you still consider Jline as one of your choices because they are in fact sick wheels.

Onetongarage aka Van has been the absolutely most helpful thus far. He sent me an in depth email and is serious about helping me...Now that gets business from me. I don't know much about wheels I'll admit because I come from an extensive history of Hondas. With those you slap on a 15x7 or 15x6 and call it a day. Ask me anything about D or B series and I can go off for days...Just don't know ____ about wheel offsets, etc.

Anyhow, he seems like he's going to handle all of my questions so the problem is handled. Call me a _____, but I'm done with the JLine wheels...I want a true JDM wheel, and Work is as Japanese as you can get. Super high quality, and a great look.

honestly, i was considering some jline wheels till it dawned to me,.. i'll be just like those HRE, I-FORGE idiots who think that their kustom wheels are the ____..
lol
when in reality, their quality doesn't even compare, go figure why work, volk, and ss-r's have been around for SOOOO LONG, and are sold WORLD WIDE, and are wanted by EVERYONE(well not everyone)..

u know? i just think hre's and iforge's are for suckers. thats just my opinion. i bet we got people who are gonna tell me how 'wrong' i am coming up right now.

I looked at HRE, Iforge, DTM and still went with Work. IMO they are still on top of the game.

I was fortunate to use these very limited 2 piece Ro_Ja wheels from Denny of Crossfire Audio for a recent project. If these were available I would have a set of these over any of the HRE, Iforge or DTM wheels.

I should have some pic's of the Work Seeker cX wheels soon I ordered 18x8 25mm front and 18x8.5 20mm rear

Ok guys and gals,
I'm coming on the tail end of this post. I tried to read it all, but there was alot useless posts (No offense ). I will pose a few simple questions that I need answered.

1. I have Van's OneTon shims installed on my box. What's the offset that I need now to make these wheels flush? :?

2. Based on that info I am interested in some 18x8 wheels so I can get a nice lip .What's the price on the wheels shown above in those specs?

Remember just the facts...Thanks

Unfortunately these Ro_Ja wheels are not available. However I ran 19x8 40mm Axis spiders with OTG spacers and this is how it looked. I did have to roll the lip to avoid rubbing, you might not have to do that with 18’s… it also depends on how low you are. I have coilovers and the way that the spiders are made if gives a nice lip, I think that Axis has a Maxis lip available to get more.

If I remember correctly my rims and tires were around $2k give or take …

why not have em both? if money wasn't an issue, and you were serious to buy, this wouldn't even be an issue. imo.

scionmilktruck, the width of a rim DOES impact the lip,
but the offset is what the trick is. usually i would say u run wider so that when u get to a lower offset,
your tires are more stretched to clear the fender.
8" wide in front and 9" wide in rear is not that hard to fit on a xb,
even at a 20 or 25 offset.

nice choice in rims. im tired of seeing 1piece rims, and im tired of hearing the owners of them talk like they know what a OFFSET is on a 1 piece wheel designed for a honda.

good job dave

hey dave, i see u're running 215/40 right?
whats the width and offset front/rear?
i think everyone including myself can benefit from that info.

i was always thinking... if i went wider, can i run a 215/40
since it'll be stretched more? i think you'll answer that one

Front 18x8 25mm wrapped with Nitto Neo Gen 205/40/18zr

Rear 18x8.5 20mm wrapped with Nitto Neo Gen 215/40/18zr

On these wheels I think I could of went with a 9" rim and a -3 degree camber plate on the rear, but I wanted to be able to do roadtrips and this ride might be a little pampered but it aint no "Trailer Queen"

I think a safe size is what I got... I will know more after I get a couple hundred miles on them. I would like to point out that talking to Van, Denny, Mike Ma, SE crew and even yourself helped me on my wheel and tire size decision. So props to ya all but I do hope this helps everyone else who are going to spend some $$$$$$ on a good set of rims and tires.
