Default Goodyear Racing Tires?

well its about time for me to get new tires again for my '04 xB steelies and i remember always having the idea of getting some goodyear eagles (like when i had stock, but better and bigger!) and painting the font yellow and just have the steelie with no hub and black bolts.....thought it might look cool like those racing tires you se..

any opinions or has anyone ever seen this? I think its might be a nice little touch haha.....

i dunno what tires to get, i cant find a stock rim tire forum for best tires....any opinions would be nice...thanks guys!

C'mon, leave that yellow font crap for the American cars. They just don't look good on a Japanese car but then again, that's just my opinion...

You really don't want real racing tires on a street car. The sidewalls are very thin, for heat dissipation, and they won't stand up to the rigors of street life, at all.

Your Goodyear dealer probably has some street tires with big raised letters, if that's what you want.

For tire size, I recommend 205/55-15 on the stock steelies. They are the correct diameter, are wider, and still fit well on the stock wheels.

Here is a Goodyear tire in that size:

You can paint the "Goodyear Eagle GT" part yellow or white. I'm not sure what kind of paint would stick to sidewalls, but perhaps junk yard white or yellow markers would work.

Get the GoodYear Eagles and mount them up on a set of these custom steelies. You can get whatever offset you want and widths up to 10 inches. You could have the Speed McQueen look for like 90 bucks a wheel. Here is the link...

there is a paint that is made just for this, I have seen it at Auto Zone, etc, and some Walmarts, it is a paint pen, and it comes in White, Red, and Yellow. I believe it was about $6 a pen.
