Default Got NEW RIMS and AERO

What's up guys, happy new year.

I finally got my New Fabulous IST kit and a few new sets of wheels for the xA.

BEFORE:

Which one you like better? AME CX or AX, I have some Black LX also but 17".

Here's some pics: I've been currently running the Top Line kit sponsored from Ben and Ron at Btune. THanks guys. I wasn't super happy with the fitment on some parts of the kit so I coughed up the dough and ordered the real one. I'll use the Top line for daily driving.

The easiest way to notice if it's authentic or not is to look at the front license plate part of the Front Bumper. THe authentic one shows a recessed "Fabulous" logo there where as the replicas are simply flat. You might notice it in the Front bumper pic above. I'm new here and will post more pics after I get it painted in a couple months.

Happy new years, laters guys.

don't go with black. it make the car look "dirty". It's just the color of the car as it is. Stay with the silver 5 spokes. I can't remember their letters. CX?

That is an amazing xA... have to agree tho the silver wheels set the car off better. The AME's don't have enough dimension and look a little anonymous beside the crazy kit.

Sweet thanks guys. That's exactly what I needed to know. THe lip on the 5 Spoke Diamond cuts are bigger as well as being lighter as well as actually being able to see the Endless brakes I have too.

Nice, back to the CX we go. I guess the Black AX will be up for sale to any VIP tC owner out there.

AutoRnD Supplied the kit but I paid a ____load of money. There was basically no discount on the kit. I paid Japan retail. The only place I shaved money was in shipping it with our Endless shipment. It's not something we are privy to offerring to the community because there is no margin in it. We're working on that tho.

If you guys want something Fabulous let me know and I'll see what I can do for you. Most likely it will be about 15 to 20% more than Japan retail to cover freight and duties.

Thanks, Rishie

Wow, sucks paying full price on the kit, but smart throwing it in on with the brake shipment. I got my W-Blood @ a discount price, but got jacked on shipping I guess. It all works out in the end. Nice choice too. So, What was the trick with the five bolt conversion? I have been pondering that for awhile. Sure does open the door for way cooler wheels. I would do the AME Windmuhls then. Those wheels are way cool.

So check it out. I lost 15mm of potential lip by doing the conversion. It is a 15mm spacer conversion mod that requires removing the hubs, cutting studs, replacing studs, not a quick and painless job. You can't go back either without buying new hubs. So once it's done it's done.

The CX wheel produced a good lip for me because the spoke is curved so even in a Super Lo disk it cleared the brakes. Now the AX being such a flat face wheel required a Lo disk for the front and therefore lost some lippage, not to reiterate that it is a flat faced wheel.

The conversion was like over $300.00. AME Found it for me in Japan somewhere. Once again a lucky find. Since AME doesn't make any VIP like 18" 4 lug wheels we had to convert to showoff some of these styles along with the brakes.

Let me know if you guys want the spacer conversion kit. i'll see if we can get a GB price going and i'll EMS them over here.

Peace, Rishie
