Default Got some new wheeles

Well i caved in and spent some money. Finally got a set of rims for the box.

This is what i ended up with.

http://adaptivestrategies.com/motegi-dp1-chrome.jpg

They are a 17 x 7.

Is any one else rocking these rims?

What do you all think.

When i get in and on the box i will post some picks.

I hope you have a good supply of elbow grease. They look unique, reminds me of a blinged out fire department logo.

Nice. Now go buy some chrome polish and elbow grease. You'll need it. Can't wait to see them on.

Ya i am sure they will take a couple of minuntes to polish up!!!!

I was looking for a rim that looked a little different, to many people in my town have a spoked rim. and i figured the box has a unique look might aswell get a rim with a unique look.

As for the weight of the rim they are 26.5 lbs.

What would you all recomend using for a good chrome polish?

I should get them monday, and i will post pics when i do.

Always good when someone does something different to their rides. Atleast it's not ANOTHER set of out-dated, boring-looking "You gotta get JDM" wheels.

yeah i have 17's and i run that size tires. im sittin on skunk2's which were rated for around a 2 inch drop. wish it dropped alittle more in the back but all in all im happy with the stance. the tires are perfect size tho no rubbing issues.. i thinking of switching up the wheels and camber to run a stretched tire but i dont know much about it... all i know is the stretched tire look is hot.

I would consider 215/40 instead. Most 205/40s are undersiaed and not weight rated for the xB. Plus the ride will be nicer with 215/40.
