H&R 5mm spacer(installed, but question)
2006 scion xa on tien coilovers (Yoko 215/45/R17 ES100)
I am running OTG 10mm shims in the rear which are perfect, and the H&R 5mm up front (Wheels are 42mm offset) now at 75 to 80mph the front feels loose and vibrates the steering wheel slightly. Is this an after effect of the H&R spacers, and is this normal? I was told that i cant run hubcentic rings on those spacers by a guy at the local tuning shop, and i am not even sure if that is what i need. The install was done professionaly and the supplied aftermarket studs were used. I had the front wheels balenced, and the lugs are tight. From what it looks like the wheel is flush with the spacer. My cornering has also been reduced slightly, and am wondering if the tire size is the issue. Without the 5mm spacer i have rubbing agaist the inner suspension.
When i got it aligned i remember that the dealer could not do anything with the toe in. Would pillow mounts be a plus, or does this have nothing to do with anything.

i have 15 mm spacers in the rear and 10 in the front, am lowerd on s techs, and don't experience the problems you're having. no vibrations outside of the usual. xa's feel a little shaky when you're booking though. even stock.

You might wanna check if all your bolts and lugs are tightened. Also consider hubcentric rings to center your wheels on your hubs. I believe the H&R spacers are not hubcentric which might be why you feel the vibration because your front wheels are rolling in different directions.
