Help me figure out my next suspension setup...
Right now i'm running 16x7 25ET wheels w/205/50/16 Kuhmo's, TRD shocks, struts, springs. I'm rubbing a bit in from at full wheel **** and the TRD's are to rough. I'd like to get some old school looking 15x7-15x8's with low offset (B.Boomers, Sportmax, Work Equip) but i don't want to rub and i don't want to stretch tires, roll fenders or use camber or spacers. I do want to get them semi flush but total clearance and appearance of the drop is more important to me. I don't think i want more than a 2 inch drop but i want minimal gap...
I want to start with Tein SSP's with EDFC. What settings would i need to run high enough to clear my current wheel/tire combo? Or with 15's and what would the best offset and tire size be? Keeping in mind all the things i do and don't want to do.

you are running a very wide tall tire on those 16's have you thought about going to a 45 series and maybe a 195 instead of the 205's. you really are not loosing that much contact patch/height and would probably gain enough clearance on current suspension

That's a good tip and i will do that on my next tire change. I still want to get 15's and have edfc. Any tips or suggestions on that? At the maximum i want a 2" drop and a 15x8" wheel. I guess i need to know what offset and tire size will fit those parameters without rubbing or doing anything else to keep them from rubbing. However, i want the wheel well to be filled up as much as possible too, of course. After figuring that out, what would the magic ride height be?

You want the impossible. In order to be anywhere near flush you will need to roll the rear quarters.
There are many threads giving the recipe to achieve what you want. Only problem is you have to mod stuff to make it work.

bB2ner has a point.
you will have to make compromises to get to EXACTLY what you want to do.
from what i've seen, spacers/camber AND rolling are required to get anything near flush while getting a drop with minimal gap or else you're just asking for your tires to get cut up or not being flush.
as for if you want 15x8 but dont want to stretch, i don't really know too much about that, but this thread might have some insight:

and in this thread, someone else had similar questions to you:

are you SET on going on coils?
if not, why not try out the tein Stechs? they'll give you around a 2" drop and are smoother than the TRDs.
at the same time, the roughness you're getting is (i'm thinking) your TRD shocks. those are stiff.
also, tire brand and model choice is critical. they have a lot of impact on how good your ride feels. but i'm sure you know that.

I was also thinking an Stech/Koni combo...you are right about the TRD shocks. They are stiff. The TRD springs are OK but not quite low enough. I might be willing to roll the fenders but definitely no camber or tire stretching. Maybe flush is the wrong term to use. How low could i go with 15x8, 0 offset without stretching or camber?

S Techs should work as long as you don't use rear spacers. They are like 1.5- 1.75" drop. A fellow club member has this exact setup without any known rubbing issues. His user name is Peej

So you are saying without spacers, camber, tire stretching, or rolling fenders, i could run 15x8 0offest wheels with an Stech drop and not rub? Peej has no pics in his garage. Can you help me find pics of what his setup looks like?
