Default Help me pick out rims

Ok so I have been riding around on my 19's for exactly a year today and quite frankly i am getting tired of them...19 inch is just too big of a rim for the xB, not to mention the horrible gas mileage i am getting with them

I just bought a set of Tein SS coilovers and i am planning on dropping them 3 to 3.5 maybe even the complete 4 inch drop that they can do...

I am kind of wanting a 16" rim...

I have no idea what offset i want...

I was wanting to stick with a 205 or a 215/40 series tire (dont want anything beefy)

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Pictures would be greatly welcomed...

here is a pic of my car with my 19's just to give you an idea of what i got if you dont already know... its nothing much, just a couple of isle 4 mods

ok so it seems the black 501's is what i will be getting...now as for tire sizes...whats a good size...is a 205/40 gonna look good on the 501's, will it be stretched or is there a wider tire i should go with like a 215 or a 225/40 since its an 8 inch rim??? i kind of like the stretched tire look but not sure as of how safe that is...

Save a little more, and get good wheels. Not played out styles. Even rbwheels or memoryfab have good deals on JDm used wheels in great condition. Check them out. YOu may be happier with a wheel that not EVERYONE is running.

well with that in mind, you said you want 16's what about 15's? to small?
17"s to big, I have a few ideas, but need to know, what size for sure that you are looking for.

15's are too small, i like low profile tires and with a 15 i can only get a 50 series...i am just a fan of 16's i guess...19's are just too dang big

I officially don't care what's played out. Or what's real or fake.

At the end of the day, it's a car that gets me from point a to point b.
I personally think it's stupid to put a $3k set of wheels on a $15k car. So there's that.

I also build my car for what I want. I could give a ish if people think it's played out.

Do whatever you want. If you like the way the 501s are styled, then that's all that should matter.

Styling that works? SInce when is a cheap knockoff of a good wheel considered style? It's only semi-stylish because of the original. But still cries out "LOOK, I BOUGHT A CHEAP KNOCKOFF!" Granted, not everyone has the same budget, but saving helps. I know a guy that only makes $10 and hours, has a RSX with a full JDM motor and body swap, JDM kit, Advan wheels, Jackson Supercharger, plus whatever else. He save for the good stuff. You keep buying the cheap stuff, you will never have the money to get ahead and buy the good stuff.

And like I said, you can buy good used JDM. BRAND NAME, wheels from a few different places for a little more than you would spend for new generics.
