why? .... because they can... I wouldn't do it personally? but won't talk ish if they can...
banging... cutting... banging... cutting...

biggest you can fit without banging or cutting are 19's with proper offsets

i'll let them go for 1K, just because i want air ride so bad!

and who ever said 20's weigh more than 18's. i'm tempted to pull an 18 off my XB and set it on a scale, and then put the 20 on the scale! I'm pretty sure my 18's are heavier than my 20's. And so what if they are chrome.... you said nothing about that.

to some, 20's may seem like a waste of money, but i but some of the mods you do, i'll think are a waste of money!

And i'm pretty sure that your not going to find a 20 thati'll just "bolt-on" a XB and not have to cut or trim something. I take that back.. mine bolted right on with a 2" drop. i guess if you didn't plan on driving it, it'll bolt right on with out cutting. and my wheels were 7.5"
and a 30 series tire compared to a 35 series tire..............we are talking mm here.......thats not going to prevent someone having to cut.

i don't mean to get ____y with you guys, but i know from EXPERIENCE what it takes to get 20's on an XB, lowered, or not! some like 20's, and some don't! some like 17's, I don't. i could say 17's are a waste of money, but i know to the people that bought them it was money well spent!

some people like a challenge.......some people don't want to be like eveyone else and just bolt some wheels on. some of us like to be diffrent, even if that means cutting, trimming, and beating the wheel wells. to each his own!

I'll believe the 22's when I see 'em. I know what it takes to put 20's on. I'll be waiting.... And I'll shake his hand if he does it.

i would love to first find a 4 lug 22"in a 7.5" or a 7" and then to find a tire that is small enough in the width and the profile but if so would love tosee it because im fiending to go bigger then the 20's

20's look retarded on xB's 22's will look even worse. lets make our cars slower , less safe ( stopping distance) minitruck ish , basically be unable to lower it without alot of mods , insanely expensive rubber band tires that ride like crap.

i also have been looking at 22's....it will be alot of work to get them on...ALOT! good luck to him and i can not wait to see it. how low is he planning on going?

i have talked to like 4 major rim companies and all said they would make a 22x7.5
the harder part was getting a decent price. 1 22 will cost more than what i paid for my 20's "all 4"
now tires are becoming a problem...i can't remember off the top of my head but the smallest tire i found was prolly to wide for a 7, 7.5" wide 22. now yah it will fit on the rim but will prolly bulge and just not look right.

20's look retarded) that is your opinion "from everyone with 20's on a box...thanks for sharing your opinion but you just would not understand why we put 20's "or bigger on a box"

lets make our cars slower) news flash it is a scion xb they are slow! and i have no difference with my factory 15's or my 20's i still cruise the highway at the same speeds with no problem "well except for the jaw dropping looks i get"

less safe) well i stop just the same, brakes are not wearing out any different than with the factory wheels. so how is it unsafe..and are {custom chopped Celica gts springs} safe? were these chopped springs put through r & d for the scion xb?

cant wait to see 22's on an xb, there are a few companies that make 22 by 7.5's but like bruceb said there not cheap, you could always build an xb with spacers and do a widebody that would allow for a wider rim. i would think to make it look right you would have to run air suspsion and tub out the fenders or just get rid of them. Good luck to who ever does it first!
