You need 1/2" ones to be exactly even according to the track widths given by Scion. Plus Mikes come anodized black so they won't corrode like the OTG ones I had at first.

Hello, I am Mike. Some of you know me from the rear brake conversion, and some from these spacers. (soon to be much more) I have four spacer sizes available. This eliminates the stack method to get the correct offset needed. The 1/2" spacers will even the rears up with the fronts as Jeff has mentioned. Here are the size conversions.
1/4" = 6.35mm
3/8" = 9.5mm
1/2" = 12.7mm
3/4" = 19.5mm
Spacers come anodized black! The hardware in the 1/2" and 3/4" kits are 10.9 automotive grade bolts and washers. The 1/4" and 3/8" are 8.8 grade bolts, and 10.9 grade washers. PM me for more details!

Just installed Mike's 1/2" spacers last night. Love the way it looks now.

Only concern is that my parking brake cables seem to be stretched a little tight (I know it's because of the extra space) but, I was wondering if anyone else had them chafe or start to rub through the coating on the parking brake cable.

Thanks.

I personally have been running the 1/2" spacers for about two years with no problems.

Good to hear. So far I love the look! An alignment will be needed though. The rears are a bit negative.

Being a solid rear axle I don't think the rear alignment is adjustable. Mine is 4 years old and has never needed an alignment yet.

No way to camber adjust-make sure your bolts are tight-if they are loosening (the bottoms) it would give camber and a HUGE problem down the road.

I run the 1/2 inch ones as well as 5mil wheel spacers and have no problems. 215/45-17 tires-I think my wheels are 40s offset (Konig tantrums)

I agree. He should re torque them after a hundred miles or so just to be safe.

Agree^^^ As far as the spacers go, they have no camber in them. So check and re-torque the bolts. Thanks, Mike

Yeah I know about it being a solid axle and not being adjustable. They are probably fine but, just look negative haha. I work in a shop so I can get the alignment done for free anyway so... why not.

I know with 10mm spacers you'd definatly need new studs, but would you new new studs with 5mm spacers?

We are not talking about spacers that go between the wheel and hub.

If that's in reply to my post-no, 5mm wheel spacers are the widest you can add without any stud altering (and I am not sure I would do that on the front due to the torque possibilities)

My wheels are 17x7 with a +38 offset, which size spacer would be best for me? I don't know anything about offsets and such.

I run the same size wheels and offset on my xB. I ran 1/2" Spacers on mine and had no problems rubbing. I am also on S-techs. The 3/4" will with a load, if your lowered. The 1/2" ones will flush them with the front tires. PM me if you need some.

I am lowered on s-tech springs as well.

So I will go with the 1/2 inch when I get some extra cash. Thanks for the info.
