The rings may help but I would check the balance. Looka and see which weights they used on the wheels. If the old style seights that clip on the edge of the rim then you will most likely need a rebalance also. When you do get them balanced make sure you have them used stickon wheel weights. I had this same problem and after rings didnt help I turned to the dealer for balancing. Cost me $35 and lots of headach. Perfect ride now.

Will do. I know that htey used the stick on variety. I'm not sure about how well they stuck, though. Thanks for the advice, and I'll report back!

I think there should be a sticky or add links to hubcentric ring dealers on the wheel fitment sticky. It took me forever, well what felt like forever, to find the ones I needed.

Update:

Finally got the rings and stuck them on. Guess what? It didn't totally fix the problem, but it did help. I think the wheels need to be properly balanced. But at least I got that part done.

Now for all the other crap I still have to do...

After installing hubcentric rings, most of the vibration I was feeling went away. Although I still have some at 70+mph, I don't feel like paying to have them rebalanced. There's only so much you can expect when wheels cost <$100 per wheel. If I paid a lot more then they had better balance out pretty well or I would get rid of them.

www.justforwheels.com they have hubcentric rings. You input your make, model, and wheel manufacturer/model and they will send you exactly what you need. Mine are in the mail right now. So are my wheels! cant wait.

I've found that if the right people put your wheels on you don't need rings. I'm on my second pair of aftermarket wheels and I've never had any problems with vibration, even at high speeds.

I have never in my life used hubcentric rings, and I have never had a problem. My wife is currently running a set of wheels that most would say require hubcentric rings. A tire shop mounted and balanced the tires, and I installed them on the car. No vibration, no wobble at any speed.

If you get a proper balance and install the wheel correctly there really is no need for hubcentric rings. At least not in my experience. Hubcentric rings were invented so that lazy tire jockeys could continue to be lazy tire jockeys. (Not saying that all tire jockeys are lazy. ;) )
