Default Konig helium? experiences?

I'm thinking about upgrading stock to Konig Helium wheels. 15x6.5, 10.6 pounds each. I'm not looking for bling, but for a light inexpensive wheel to help with acceleration, performance, etc. Still debating the upgrade and what to upgrade to.

Thanks.

Not bad, if you like those you might also like the Rota Circuit-8s

What's tempting is some website that seems to be selling the Konig's for $82.

http://www.jdwheels.com/konig.htm

I'd almost rather go with the C8's since more people have experience with them, even though the Konig is lighter. I've got someone local selling the C8's for $100 (www.urbanimport.com), and that's the lowest I've seen on those (although I have to pay 7% tax, which makes it equal). This will be for daily driving, and the only Konig Helium users are Miata and RSX weirdos.

I'm just getting 15s if I get anything.

Decisions...

ive never heard of them, are you sure they are reputable? I'd hate to see someone get ripped off.

Hey texodore, I agree with BOXMAN. GET EM' I just ordered my set from the same place I believe. I am soooo excited. I don't know about you, but I know I wanted a lightweight performer that was not real flashy. I also seem to see lot's of ROTA or DRAG wheels on boxes and thought these would be different. I say GET EM' and good luck with them.

I got mine (flat black) from DRFlickner here and installed them on 2/24. I like 'em.

Here's the thread with more info:

And here's a picture - that really doesn't do it justice:

I had a set of the 17" Heliums on my 200sx and I loved them. They were lightweight and affordable. Konig is a very reputable company, so you won't go wrong with your purchase. . I'm looking into getting a set of the 15's in bronze myself. Here is a pic of them on my nissan.

been through alot of rims, I have the bronze 15s with 205/50/15's on my 2002 civic.. love them cuz they are inexpensive and light. I haven't had any problems yet... hit a few downtown LA potholes... no bends or cracks.
