Default Kumho ECSTA 711

Well yesterday I ordered some new tires.. I went on tirerack to order the BFgoodrich tires (the one's on stock srt-4), I saw that they were $125 a piece.

I noticed that there was a closeout sale going for these Kumho ECSTA 711's..
The price was $52/tire. $208 for all 4.

I understand they aren't the best tires, but does anyone have any experience with them?

My buddy just picked a set of these up and got them on his car five days ago. I'm sure they're decent tires for everyday "spirited" driving.

The other tires would of came to $500.. These came to $208, I couldn't resist that type of price difference, even if they aren't quite as good. The tread wear & noise comfort was actually better with these tires.

With the extra money I purchased an ingalls stiffy & megan s-pipe.

So no one else has these?

If anyone needs tires, they're still on the closeout sale on tirerack for a little longer.

Im not sure about 711's but I know that Kumhoe Ecsta ASX are great tires. Kumhoe in general makes very good tires from what I've seen. That's a great deal btw.

The stock tC tire size is 215/45/17, not 215/40.. They are $52 each plus shipping. It's a closeout sale.

Up untill now I have ran nothing but Kumho Ecsta Supra's on my xB. I have had two sets so far & can't say enough good things about them. If the 711's are anything like the supras you just bought yourself one good set of tires for the money !

I decided to go cheap this time because all I do is show. I don't race or hit turns hard so I figured why blow the extra cash. All anyone sees at a show is a glossed tire anyway.

I have the 711's on my rims and they are a good tire in both wet and dry conditions.

Damn, I ordered these around 8-9pm on wednesday and they're already on my door step.

That's some super fast ground shipping.

I order the same tires, too. I was going to get the Avons again. Had them on my tc. Couldn't turn down $52 for the kumhos. Yeah the shipping is fast. Had mine in a day. To bad my wheels are on backorder.

I got these put on today and I think they're great.. I'm very satisfied. I wasn't expecting them to hook up so well, I launched my car a few times and it seemed like I could launch in a much higher RPM with barely any wheel spin.

I would guess 30,000-40,000 because of the 320 treadwear rating. I'm kind of hard on tires, I would guess 30,000 for myself.
