But the Axis is lacking 2 things in comparison the the Work Equips
1)Old school flavor
2)Fitment .

Granted O.S. isn't for everybody, but the fitment...honda offsets suck.

Few hours labor...for example 3hrs @ $70.00/hr= $210.
How much do H techs go for? $170ish?

210+170=380 Sounds about right for a shop.

*Keep in mind, I am NOT justifying $400 installed, I'm just saying, that for a shop, it sounds about par.

The way it's worded looks like $400 is springs + install.
If they want $400 just in labor Tell them to go pound sand!!!!

pour sand :D :D

Good one, I will have to use that today.

But yeah, my dealer is the one that wants 400 for install ALONE . But the guy in Ft. Smith is very kool, and will give me a break on the Tein H's. So it wil end up being around $350 (that includes install).

In Fayetteville we have a vocational High School, and there is a auto body class, and they will do it for free, as long as I sign something. But there are two problems. One, my parents bought the car for me, and if I get anything done to it outside the dealership, it better be done by a certified someone. And I am not trusting those people at West Campus, they probably will not mess up, but you know what I mean

You might want to look a little closer at the H.S. or if there is a Community College (might be a little more safe )

When places like that (schools) do work on "customer" cars the instructor oversees what is going on.
The only thing I would be really concerend about is some HS kid dinging the ride w/tools or something.

No you didn't, fitment (width, and low offset) counts as two!!
It's a draw

Well, actually its funny you say that.. I kinda have some grudges with some of the West Campus students. They do not like me, period. and I beat two of them in a race to get to East Campus first one was a truck that was six feet off the ground and could not corner as good as I can, hell, I could have drove under the thing, and the other was a focus.. But there was two who beat me, they have 93 civics with everything in them

Hence one of the many reasons I have the most sensitive car alarm on the lot

umm for those of you saying that it should take 3 hours to do springs you are way wrong, it can be done in less than an hour, about 45 min.

After reading all of the posts, I think I realized 16" are not for me. I really think I have made my mind up, i think.
