Default Is a mild stretched tire safe? Need help selecting right size tires

So this is my girls daily. 06 xb with df210's on it. Never has more then me and her and the baby in it and the roads out here in phx,az arent that bad. Now is a "mild" stretch ok for daily driving? Has anyone ever actually had a problem like the bead busting on on a pot hole or something? I am getting the 16x8 0 offset xxr all the way around. Was going to go with a 185/55/16 or a 195/50/16. I would go with a 205/45 but i think the width is going to cause rubbing problems. What size tires would you guys go with

Go with either a 195/45/16 or a 205/40/16. Daily drove with 205/40's. Your going to rub no matter what you do with 16x8's. Unless your running some camber.

I dont understand why everyone says 16x8's will rub no matter what. Plenty of people say they run the 15x8's with rolled fenders and stock sized tires and have no rubbing. Now if i run a 16x8 and put tires on that are the same exact diameter of stock xb tires then why would it matter what size rims they are? the stock 185/60/15 is 23.7 inches tall in diameter. The 195/50/16 are the same exact size in diameter so why would they rub?

Don't know what to say about that, but I defiantly rubbed front and back.

My 15x8 +0 XXR513s rub like hell on the rear (Ohio nearly destroyed my tires; I'll have to post my whole 2600 mile adventure). I'm running 195/60s on them, so it's a modest stretch, but not ridiculous, and I've probably done about 5k miles on this setup with no issues other than rubbing.

My fronts are 15x7 +15, with no rubbing at all (same size tires; TRD springs all around).
