Thanks for looking out on the pic. I finally figuired it out after two edits of my original post.

I didn't want to go with the big tire look. I think that it would take away from the wheel. I have a nice shiney lip on the wheels and more tire sidewall would have killed the look for me.

Your speedometer must be very off though with that tire size.

It's not about the looks, it's about the safety, and the accuracy of the speedo.

I like the rims, they look great. I do agree that the drop is needed though. Throw some tein s or tanabes on there.

nothing kills the look more than not being dropped. Rims will look great once you get the springs though.

Shoes look good, but your car looks like it's wearing floods without a drop.

The xB will look tight as soon as you drop it!!!!

THanks for the comments. I enjoy my wheels. About the speedometer see below:

Stock Tire - 185/60R15 >Search Tires Tire 1 - 205/40R17 >Search Tires
Section Width: 7.28 in 185 mm
Section Width: 8.07 in 205 mm

Rim Diameter: 15 in 381 mm
Rim Diameter: 17 in 431.8 mm

Rim Width Range: 5 - 6.5 in
Rim Width Range: 7 - 8 in

Overall Diameter: 23.74 in 602.99 mm
Overall Diameter: 23.45 in 595.63 mm

Sidewall Height: 4.37 in 110.99 mm
Sidewall Height: 3.22 in 81.788 mm

Radius: 11.87 in 301.49 mm
Radius: 11.72 in 297.68 mm

Circumference: 74.58 in 1894.3 mm
Circumference: 73.67 in 1871.2 mm

Revs per Mile: 876.1
Revs per Mile: 886.9

Actual Speed: 60 mph 100 km/h
Speedometer1: 60.7 mph 101. km/h

Speedometer Difference: - Speedometer Difference: 1.232% too fast
Diameter Difference: - Diameter Difference: 1.23%

There is not much difference in the speedometer. The above stats are taken from http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

The acceleration of my vehical is incredible now compared to my stock tires. I can feel the power that is being put out from the engine is now being handled without a problem. I get immediate acceleration on take offs. I have a manual and at times when I was pulling off on my my stock tires, I would spin my wheels; but with these tires I have not had that happen so far.

The size of my wheels are 17x7 and the tires are 205/40/17 Falken Ziex. I enjoy the stability and the quite ride from these tires; even on the highway. I have tested these tires in the rain that we have had here in Gerogia this past week and the tires handled as if they were on dry pavement. I have always liked Falken tires. My brother has a 528i sport that has these same Flaken tires and he has had no problem.

I have gotten many compliments on my wheels and the look since of my xB since I got my wheels Saturday. As far as a drop goes... I am contemplating that real hard. My next move is to throw a strut bar, anti-sway bar , and a short ram intake on.

My brother says " If you have to pay a note on a car ,make sure that you enjoy what you are driving each and everyday."
I agree totally.

GOD Bless.

I wouldn't say that. It depends on your tire size and keeping the car as close to the cars original speedometer reading as possible. The miles that are being put on your car are very minimal. Use the tire calculator to see how different tire sizes work out.

GOD Bless
