My New/Used 15x8 Shoes (56K go wax your car)
I've had wet dreams about these wheels since Dave (macncheese) first purchased these back in 2004. Two years later I was shocked to find that Revolution stopped production and I thought I'd never find a set of 15x8's that would fit my odd tastes. As luck would have it, Dave placed his xB up for sale, and a month later I learned the wheels didn't sell with it. Needless to say I snatched them up as quickly as possible.
So here they are in all their glory on their new home. As far as I know, these are the only Revolution RFX wheels in existance in the US on an xB.
Specs: Revolution RFX 15x8 ET18mm with Dunlop GT Qualifiers measuring 225/50-15. The tires are entirely too big and I have some major rubbing issues in the back (bad enough that the sharp lip on the wheel opening cuts into the sidewall). I'm planning on putting OTG 10mm shims in the back to bring them out a bit to match the fronts. After that the fenders will get rolled and I'm most likely going to a smaller tire size (205/55-15's most likely). Hoping that will solve the majority of the rubbing issues.
Enjoy the pics:
Random Mitsu Montero that has been sitting here for god knows how long. At first glance, it actually looks someone was cutting away the brush and found the car sitting there:
My two favorites...couldn't figure out which one I liked best:
My brother also snapped some pics as well....should be up soon. I'll post those once they are up as he has a bit better eye for the photography than I do.

I think Dave said he had these in storage for about 6-months. Once I get around to it I plan on giving the lips a thorough scrubbing/polishing.

Ugh...this week they are coming off the car.
Due to the craptastical streets in my area I have some severe rubbing that is absolutely killing the sidewalls (gashes from the rear lips and CHUNKS of rubber missing from contact with the front fender/bumper bolts). Definately not safe to be driving with the increasing trauma to the sidewalls. I guess I need to rethink my suspension setup, but the funds are on lockdown until after the wedding in January. Right now I'm running S-Techs on stock dampers.
So into storage they go until I can figure out what to do next. I'm thinking the ultimate setup would be a skinnier tire with air suspension and fender flares....maybe I can give it the 4x4 look for bumpy city driving and carrying extra cargo/passengers.
