Need info on painting wheels-
I want to paint my wheels and need to know if they need to be primed first? What kind of paint would be best? Should they be cleared or not? What grade sandpaper to use so scratches will not be seen? Stuff like that. Any help will appreciated. Thanks in advance

Go to your local autozones or pepboys and look for duplicolor wheel paint and follow those directions.
I myself scuffed up the paint with 400 grit sandpaper to give the paint something to stick too, 4 light coats of black and 3 coats of clear.
If I were to do it again I'd either use the duplicolor wheel paint and follow the directions to a T or sand down to the metal, prime, paint, clear.
Good luck!

I'm doing them in a charcoal grey metalic and I think Duplicolor has that color in wheel paint. I'm wondering if automotive clearcoat will cause the duplicolor to wrinkle or not? Or how durable the duplicolor clear would be?? Or if I should do the whole job with automotive paint for durability?
